This Recycled Wood and Paua Shell Pukeko Art makes a lovely piece of New Zealand wall art.

On the recycled piece of wood, made to look like a piece of driftwood, a marsh design is lasered onto the wood, and then the design is embellished with dyed Paua Shell Pukeko birds.

Paua shell is New Zealand's native abalone shell, with beautiful irridescent shades of blue, green, pink and purple.

Pukeko are blue and black marsh hens with bright red legs.

The piece of timber measures approximately 30cm x 8.5cm x 2cm (11 7/8' x 3 1/4' x 5/8') and has a hanger on the back.
